The Disneyland Resort has announced updates to several popular eateries at the Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Some are set to begin very soon!
At the Disneyland Hotel, Tangaroa Terrace will be closing on Sunday for a lengthy refurbishment. The ’50s Tiki-inspired design isn’t going away, but when the space reopens in mid-January as the Tangaroa Terrace Bar & Grill, guests will find an updated patio and a new outdoor bar serving island-inspired cocktails and an Asian-inspired menu.
The inside will get a refresh as well, with new light fixtures made from fishing floats and netting, a new tropical mural, and bamboo accents.
There will also be a new window dedicated to coffee drinks in the morning and Dole Whips the rest of the day.
Tangaroa Terrace Bar & Grill will continue to offer breakfast, lunch and dinner in its new “open-air marketplace.”
While Tangaroa Terrace is closed, the remaining locations at the Disneyland Hotel (Trader Sam’s, The Coffee House, Steakhouse 55) will offer expanded menus.
Over at the Grand Californian, White White Snacks will be closing September 24th and will open later this year with a “fresh new look.”
While White Water Snacks is closed, the Hearthstone Lounge will add some additional menu items.
Finally, there is a new pool bar coming to the Grand Californian Hotel next spring [artwork above]!
The new area will match the craftsman tone of the hotel, with a trellis providing shade while you’re enjoying adult libations and an appetizer. Both lounge and table seating will be available at the new pool bar.
No opening dates have been announced for any of the updated locations.
