Walt Disney World Construction Lawsuit Dismissed

Jacksonville subcontractor Allstate Steel, who in 2015 helped with the construction of the Magic Kingdom’s Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen restaurant, has dismissed its lawsuit against Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. Orange County Comptroller records show the subcontractor was suing Disney for almost $80,000 after they claimed Disney had not paid the full bill of the construction project.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, on October 9, 2017 the lawsuit was dismissed voluntarily. The Orlando Sentinel reached out to both Allstate Steel, who declined to comment, and Disney, who did not return their message.

At this time, it is not known what prompted Allstate Steel to drop the lawsuit.
