The Walt Disney World Resort updated its website on Friday and is now only accepting hotel reservations for arrival dates of July 1 or later. Previously, the resort was allowing guests to book vacations for a June arrival.



The “travel information” page on the Walt Disney World website that contains timely information regarding COVID-19 related closures now states, in part:

Walt Disney World theme parks and Disney Resort hotels are currently closed a reopening date has not been identified. For Guests who are interested in modifying their existing travel dates or making a new reservation for a future vacation, reservations are currently available for travel dates July 1 and later. As always, Guests are able to modify these bookings if Walt Disney World Resort opens before or after that time.

As before, Disney is waiving any of their change or cancellation fees for existing vacation reservations with arrival dates through June 30th.
