Walt Disney World Water Parks Closed Until at Least March 7, 2021

Walt Disney World has updated their website to indicate that they don’t plan to open their water parks until March 7, 2021. Disney says that, pending government approval, either Disney’s Blizzard Beach or Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, will open in March.

In light of the extended closure, Disney is processing a partial refund to Annual Passholders to reflect the number of days left on their pass. Guests on the monthly payment plan will receive the appropriate refund, however their monthly payment will not change. Refunds can be expected in late October or early November.

Water Parks and Water Parks After 2 Annual Passes will be extended the length of the closure. Guests may also choose to cancel their pass.

Guests that have purchased a ticket add-on that includes water parks can choose to modify or cancel those tickets.

Unused, unexpired 1-Day Disney Water Park Tickets can be used through December 31, 2021. Those tickets can also be cancelled.
