Disney fans who love getting a peek behind the scenes have something new to add to their Disney+ watchlists. All seven episodes of We Call It Imagineering are now available to stream on Disney+, making it easier than ever to binge the entire series in one place. A Disney behind-the-scenes binge session? Count me in!
Originally launched on YouTube, We Call It Imagineering takes fans inside Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Live Entertainment to show how attractions, lands, and entertainment experiences are dreamed up and built. Since its debut in April 2024, the series has covered everything from Audio-Animatronics and attraction music to new technology coming out of Disney’s research and development teams.
With the full lineup on Disney+, viewers can enjoy the series with upgraded picture and sound quality, along with the flexibility to watch on TVs, tablets, and mobile devices. It’s a nice upgrade for those who prefer streaming over YouTube, especially for episodes packed with visuals and technical details.
Disney also confirmed that the move to Disney+ doesn’t mean the show is leaving YouTube. New episodes will still debut on the Walt Disney Imagineering YouTube channel, and all existing episodes will remain available there for free. This means fans will be able to choose how they watch, whether by streaming or through traditional online viewing.
Disney says new episodes of We Call It Imagineering are in production, with future installments exploring even more of the creative process behind Disney theme parks and entertainment. Until then, fans can catch up on all seven current episodes now streaming on Disney+ and dive deeper into the storytelling, technology, and creativity that bring Disney magic to life.
