Workers Cut Line and Cause Chlorine Leak at the Disneyland Hotel

This morning, several fire engines and at least nine ambulances responded to a chlorine leak at the Disneyland Hotel.

According to a police spokesperson, at about 8:15am workers accidentally cut a chlorine line that services the hotel pool. The line is located between the pool and Goofy’s Kitchen.

One Cast Member and one guest were taken to the hospital for breathing issues, but were released the same day. Several other Cast Members and guests received minor treatment for various medical issues at the scene.

Guests were asked to stay inside their rooms or other areas of the hotel while any risk was assessed. The area was cleared for guests by 10:15am.
