According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Toy Story" stars Tom Hanks and Tim Allen have agreed to reunite in the upcoming big screen adaptation of the Disney theme park attraction "Jungle Cruise." Few details regarding the script have been released, with the exception of a promise that the film would be a "big action adventure." The report suggests Hanks will play a "family guy" and Allen will portray a "tour boat captain."

Fresh off of winning the Best Animated Feature Academy Award for "Toy Story 3," it appears as if Disney is hoping to recreate adaptation magic akin to "Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl." In addition to the development of "Jungle Cruise," Disney has begun work on a movie with theme park roots on an even grander scale. It was recently announced that Jon Favreau would not direct "Iron Man 3" so he could helm "Magic Kingdom." The movie will reportedly revolve around "a family that gets trapped in Disneyland after hours and soon discovers that the theme park's rides and characters come to life."
