Justin Muchoney of Pennsylvania was crowned the winner of Disney's "Chief Magical Official" contest.

The online contest had the three finalists competing this past weekend at Walt Disney World. Voting then was open and the winner chosen.

Muchoney, director of fine arts and music at a Pittsburgh area church, will officiate at major park events throughout the course of the following year. His other duties include dispensing wishes to park guests as part of the "Year of a Million Dreams" promotion.

The 28 year old was one of the 1300 initial applicants selected to compete. Muchoney commented "It is absolutely amazing. I have been surprised every step of the way. The odds of being one out of three were significantly better than being one out of 1,300, but still I was surprised."
