In recent years, Walt Disney World introduced both a
tequila bar (at the Mexico pavilion in EPCOT's World Showcase) and
sushi bar (Polynesian Resort). In mid-July, another unique type of bar opened at Downtown Disney - a meatball bar. Located in
Portobello, the newest dining option in Walt Disney World offers four different varieties of this former pasta topping. The meatball "sliders" are served on a roll with marinara sauce and grated cheese. Portobello also partnered with Orlando Brewing to offer pairings with seven different microbrews. These appetizers cost approximately two dollars (choosing salmon increases the price to three dollars) and pairing a microbrew with your dish will add $5.95. The bar itself can accomodate nearly 30 guests, who can also choose to order food from the full menu.
