Disneyland Resort Confirms That Oogie Boogie Bash Will Not Happen in 2020

The Disneyland Resort has confirmed that Oogie Boogie Bash, their after-hours Halloween party, will not be held this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Oogie Boogie Bash debuted last year at Disney California Adventure, replacing the popular Mickey’s Halloween Party which had been held at Disneyland Park. Worldwide Theme Park Attendance Grew 4% in 2019, Disney’s Numbers Dropped Slightly

While attendance at the largest theme park companies in the world was up 4% in 2019, Disney Parks saw a drop in attendance of 0.8%. California Closes Gyms, Salons, and Indoor Malls in Some Counties, Plus Bars & Indoor Restaurants Statewide

California Governor Gavin Newsom announced two new directives today that will close more businesses throughout the state. First, Newsom has now ordered the closure of all bars and indoor seating at restaurants across the entire state of California.
