ESPN Laying Off 100 Employees Today

100 employees, including on-air talent, were laid off today at ESPN. The giant sports network, owned in a joint venture between The Walt Disney Company and the Hearst Corporation, has been struggling as more Americans cut the cord, ending their cable subscriptions. Jostens Center at ESPN Wide World of Sports Being Renamed to “J Center”

The sponsorship agreement between ESPN Wide World of Sports at Walt Disney World and Jostens is coming to an end. Beginning February 11, 2017, Jostens Center will be renamed to the “J Center.” All signage and printed materials are in the process of being updated to reflect this change.
