5) Yuletide Fantasy Tour
If you love Christmas and the Disney Parks then you’ll love the Yuletide Fantasy Tour! For $99 per person, you’ll explore the backstage areas of Epcot and the Magic Kingdom while learning fascinating history about Christmas and the holiday season. Guests will also get to enter the Holiday Services building, which is the building in charge of decorating Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and resort hotels. This is the perfect tour for guests who want to do something new and different at Walt Disney World.
4) Holiday Treats at Amorette’s and The Ganachery
Amorette’s and The Ganachery both serve tasty treats, and Christmas time at both locations showcase exciting holiday desserts! If you like gingerbread you’ll want to head over to Amorette’s, as they are working on a gingerbread macaroon! The Ganachery will have scrumptious stollen in celebration of the holiday season. These are just some of the many exciting treats coming to both Amorette’s and The Ganachery! If you can’t wait until the holiday season starts, head over to Amorette’s or The Ganachery until the end of the month for their Christmas in July celebration!
3) More Decorations Coming to Disney Springs
Last winter was the first full Christmas season at Disney Springs. This year, Disney’s Holiday Services building has been working on more decorations to fill Disney Springs with even more holiday cheer! It is unclear where the decorations will be added in the shopping district, but it is exciting to hear that Disney is adding a little more holiday spirit in the expanded district!
2) New Holiday Merchandise
Today, Merchandise Communications Manager Steven Miller presented a sneak peek at some of the new holiday merchandise coming to the Disney Parks and the Disney Parks Store online. New Mickey ears, a holiday themed-Dooney & Bourke purse, Christmas pins, a Hitchhiking Ghost stocking, and so much more were some of the exciting holiday merchandise that Disney was showcasing.
1) New Holiday Entertainment Coming to Hollywood Studios and Epcot
Tom Vazzana, a Show Director for Walt Disney World, hinted at the fact that Disney’s Hollywood Studios would be adding two new holiday shows! He wouldn’t give any details, but many are already speculating on what each show might be! When more details on these shows are released we will be sure to report them to you! Epcot will also be adding some new entertainment. Again, while we don’t know the details we do know that there will be new Las Posadas-themed entertainment for Holidays Around the World!
