ALL The Different Ways to Celebrate Pride at Walt Disney World This Month

June is Pride Month, and Disney has many different ways to celebrate throughout the month. If you are visiting Walt Disney World during Pride Month, these are all the different ways you can celebrate and honor the LGBTQ+ community. There are many places to celebrate, from Disney Springs to the Resorts.

<em>Disney Springs Pride Month Fun<em>

Disney Springs

Disney Springs is filled with fun ways to celebrate pride so let’s dive into it. Disney Springs has pride merchandise at World of Disney and other shops throughout the shopping district. Some third-party vendors like Sugarboo, The Coca-Cola Store, and the M&M store have pride merchandise in their stores. Other than merchandise Disney Springs has pride treats sprinkled throughout the area. My favorite pride treat is from Erin McKenna’s Bakery. The snack is a Rainbow Pride Month Bar made with a vanilla cake and a sugar cookie. I love their sugar cookies, which made me enjoy this treat even more. Of course, I also love that it’s a very colorful treat that celebrates pride. My favorite thing they are doing at Disney Springs for Pride Month is all the different pride photo opportunities.

<em>Pride in the Parks <em>

The Parks

The parks have pride merchandise, pride-themed treats, and photo opportunities. One of the photo opportunities is a pride Magic Shots brought to you by PhotoPass. Pride murals can be found on specific walls at each park that are picture-perfect. The mural pictured above is located at Animal Kingdom. Magic Kingdom has the first-ever trans pride treat; it’s a cake pop made with confetti cake dipped in white chocolate with a blue and pink design.

<em>Pride at the Resorts <em>

The Resorts

At several Disney Resorts, you can find pride-inspired treats. At All-Star Movies Resort, Art of Animation Resort, Caribbean Beach Resort, Old Key West Resort, Pop Century Resort, Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is where you can find the Rainbow of Pride treat, which is a vanilla cake roll with lemon cheesecake filling, rainbow sprinkles, and white chocolate. At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you can find Pride Artisan Marshmallows. Overall, the resorts have some fun and cute treats to celebrate pride month. I am excited to continue exploring different ways to celebrate Pride Month here at Walt Disney World.

Will you be visiting Walt Disney World this month? Let us know in the comments.

Hi, I'm Erica, and I write about all things Disney. Before working for The DIS, I was a theme park performer at SeaWorld, but I also performed at Disney. I have such an immense love for theme parks to the point I studied them in college.
