
Eating in one of Walt Disney World’s four theme parks can be tough. Table Service restaurants tend to be expensive and time consuming. If you are on a tight budget, or not willing to give up about an hour of your time in the park, then your other option is Quick Service. Quick Service is Disney’s term for restaurants that are less time consuming, or fast food. These restaurants tend to have a counter you walk up to and order from. Some taste better than others, but all of them tend to have mostly good food. So, here are the best Quick Service restaurants in Walt Disney World’s theme parks:
Magic Kingdom
The Pinocchio Village Haus is an Italian restaurant in Fantasyland. It is actually connected to it’s a small world, and diners can see people loading and unloading within the boats, through a large window. Menu items include Caesar Salad with Chicken, Chicken Parmesan Sandwich, and Pepperoni Flatbread. A kids menu is available and includes Chicken Breast Nuggets, Macaroni & Cheese, Pepperoni or Cheese Pizza, and Smucker’s Uncrustables. Dessert offerings include Chocolate Gelato and Dannon Greek Yogurt. Advance Dining Reservations are not accepted here. Pricing is about $15 per adult, and the Disney Dining Plan is accepted.
Be our Guest is located in Fantasyland, and is an incredibly popular, fairly new, French Restaurant. Quick Service is only available at lunchtime. Servings include French Onion Soup, Tuna Niçoise Salad, and Carved Prime Chuck Roast Beef Sandwich. A kids menu is offered here and includes Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup, Mickey Meatloaf, and Whole-Grain Macaroni. Dessert offerings include a Lemon Meringue Cupcake, a Chocolate Cream Puff, and a Triple Chocolate Cupcake. Pricing is between about $15-$30 per adult. Advance Dining Reservations are accepted and are needed, in order to avoid a long wait here. The Disney Dining Plan is accepted.
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe is located in Tomorrowland, and serves American food at Lunch and Dinner. There are three different sections here, each serving unique foods. One section even has an animatronic figure named “Sonny Eclipse” who provides musical entertainment while you eat. Entree options include 1/2 Rotisserie Chicken, a Grilled Chicken Sandwich, and a Barbecued Pork Sandwich. A kids menu is available and has Chicken Nuggets, Smucker’s Uncrustables, and a Turkey Sandwich. Desserts offerings include Carrot Cake and Chocolate Gelato. Prices are about $15 per adult. Advance Dining Reservations are not accepted, the Disney Dining Plan is however.
Aloha Isle, located in Adventureland is the infamous home of Dole Whip. Dole Whip is only served here and at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Only snacks are served here, including Fresh-cut Pineapple Spear, Pineapple Dole Whip Cup, and Pineapple Dole Whip Float. Prices are about $10 per adult, including drinks, and the Disney Dining Plan is accepted here. Note: The photo above is of the old location of the Sunshine Tree Terrace restaurant. This is now the new location of Aloha Isle, however.
Columbia Harbor House, located in Liberty Square, is a fairly popular Quick Service restaurant with a quiet, relaxing, second floor. Both Lunch and Dinner are served. Entrees include Anchors Aweigh Sandwich, Chicken Breast Nuggets & Fish, and Garden Harvest Salad. A kids menu is available and includes Chicken Breast Nuggets and Macaroni & Cheese. Dessert offerings include Chocolate Cake and Seasonal Cobbler. Prices are the same as other Quick Service restaurants at about $15 per adult and the Disney Dining Plan is accepted. Advance Dining Reservations are not available.
Epcot
The Sunshine Seasons Food Court is located near Soarin, in The Land Pavilion. Sunshine Seasons offers Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Entrees include Bircher Muesli for Breakfast, Asian Shrimp Stir-Fry for Lunch/Dinner, and Power Salad with Oak-fired Chicken, Quinoa, Almonds, and Honey Vinaigrette also for Lunch/Dinner. A kids menu is available and has Bircher Muesli and French Toast. Dessert includes Apple Caramel Crunch and Key Lime Tart. Pricing is on par with other Quick Service restaurants at $15 per adult, and the Disney Dining Plan is accepted.
Sommerfest is a German restaurant, located within The World Showcase, in Germany. Sommerfest offers both Lunch, and Dinner. Entrees include Bratwurst, a Frankfurter, and Nudel Gratin. Unique drinks are offered such as Altenmünster Oktoberfest, Bärenjäger Honey & Bourbon, and Schöfferhofer Pink Grapefruit Hefeweizen. No kids menu is available, and desserts include Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce and Black Forest Cake. Advance Dining Reservations are not accepted. Prices are again about $15 per adult, and the Disney Dining Plan is accepted.
The Electric Umbrella Restaurant is located in Future World, in Innoventions East. The Electric Umbrella serves Lunch, and Dinner. Entrees includes a 1/3 lb Angus Bacon Cheeseburger, Chicken Breast Nuggets, and a Sausage and Pepper Sandwich. Dessert options include a Chocolate Cupcake, and Strawberry Cheesecake. A kids menu is not offered, nor are Advance Dining Reservations. The Disney Dining Plan is accepted.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Backlot Express is located in Hollywood Studios, right near Star Tours. Backlot Express offers Lunch, and Dinner. Entrees include a Chili Hot Dog, the Dark Side Chicken and Waffles, and the Royal Guard Burger. A kids menu is not available. Dessert options include the BB-8 Lemon Cupcake with Vanilla Buttercream and the Chocolate Coconut Kashyyyk German Chocolate Cupcake. Prices are also about $15 per adult, and the Disney Dining Plan is accepted. Advance Dining Reservations are not offered.
Rosie’s All-American Café is located on Sunset Boulevard, and serves Lunch and Dinner. Entrees include a 1/3 lb Fresh Angus Cheeseburger, and a Fried Green Tomato Sandwich. No kids menu is available. Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Flame Tree Barbecue is located in Discovery Island, very close to DinoLand. Entree options include a 1/2 Slab of St. Louis Ribs, Ribs and Chicken Combo, and Watermelon Salad. A kids menu is available and includes a Baked Chicken Drumstick, a Hot Dog, and other Mickey Check Meals. Dessert options include Chocolate Mousse and Lime Mousse. Harambe Market
Harambe Market is a fairly new addition to Africa, in Animal Kingdom. Harambe Market includes four different Quick Service Restaurants. Both Lunch and Dinner are served. Entrees include Grilled Chicken Skewer, Tikka Masala Chicken, and Basmati Rice and Grilled Flatbread. No kids menu is available. Dessert options include African Milk Tart.
