Top 5 Quietest Places At A Disney World Park

It’s no secret that the happiest place on earth is also the busiest place on earth. Everyone usually has a list of attractions, whether mental or physical, that are must-do’s. But it’s also important to give yourself and your family time to take a break from the hustling and bustling environment when at Walt Disney World.

Here are five of my favorite places to get away from the crowds.

5. Storybook CircusMagic Kingdom

Tucked away in the furthest corner of Magic Kingdom is one most underrated areas in the parks to date. Not only can you be immersed in this circus-centric area, but you can also find a little tent off to the side of Pete’s Silly Sideshow. This little covered area has plenty of unique seats and chairs, along with several charging ports to charge up your devices. There is also a restroom next door, and a bakery with delicious treats inside Big Top Souvenirs.

4. Future World Fountain view – Epcot1B09DFED-B5A3-4C7E-92C7-05DC24BE2FE3

If you are looking for a place to grab a cup of coffee and find refuge from the masses of people, consider this spot right in front of the fountains in Epcot’s Future World. With a great view of Spaceship Earth and the sounds of rushing water, you may be able to find a few quick minutes of relief to recompose and conquer the rest of your day.

3. Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover – Magic KingdomA35615E0-E3EA-44EB-895B-02872A0390D3

Not only does the TTA PeopleMover have some of the best views in all of Disney World, it is also a great place to get away from the crowds. It goes at a brisk enough pace to cool you down, and rarely has much of a line. Jumping on this attraction for a little downtime is always a good option to get a break from the loud and noisy crowds of the parks.

2. Flame Tree BBQ Pavilion – Animal KingdomB2D994C3-2B2C-42A5-A538-50E1EF17C308

Just to the left of this quick service restaurant, you can find a pavilion that overlooks a spectacular sight. Not only is the view of Expedition Everest across the still water breathtaking, but the absence of noise is just as enjoyable, provided you do not go during prime dining times. Grab yourself a wonderful barbecue meal and take time to rejuvenate yourself.

1. Tom Sawyer Island – Magic Kingdom

Just a short boat ride across the Rivers of America is an often overlooked area of Frontierland that almost always is an escape from the “World” around you. Tom Sawyer Island offers an adventurous stroll through caves and pathways, and is a payoff for those who journey there. While wandering around on the island, you’ll notice there are lots of places to stop and enjoy the calmness of the atmosphere. Be sure to grab a rocking chair overlooking the water and take in the view of Frontierland.

When planning to take a Walt Disney World vacation, it’s crucial to add in times of rest during your vacation so that you and your companions can regain your energy. When doing so, finding the right place to take that time can be a reward and an “attraction” all in itself.
