Walt Disney World fans have eagerly awaited this moment since October 9, 2016, when the Main Street Electrical Parade concluded its third run at Magic Kingdom. Now, at the Disney Experiences Showcase during D23 at the Honda Center, Josh D’Amaro announced that a new nighttime parade called Disney Starlight will debut at Magic Kingdom in Summer 2025.
The parade will feature the latest technology to tell new stories about beloved characters, all brought to life by the magic of the Blue Fairy. Expect to see favorites from Peter Pan, Encanto, Frozen, and more!
Tokyo Disneyland will debut its own nighttime parade, Reach for the Stars, on September 20, 2024. In January 2025, Disneyland Paris will also introduce a new, as-yet-unnamed nighttime spectacular featuring songs from Disney and Pixar, with projections down Main Street, U.S.A. and on Sleeping Beauty Castle.
