In Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios, Roundup Rodeo BBQ has been under construction for quite some time, it was originally set to open in 2020. We haven’t gotten many updates on this restaurant and when it will be opening, only that it should open in 2022. This dining location will be an immersive table-service restaurant.

Also coming in 2022 to Andy’s backyard is the previously announced Roundup Rodeo BBQ restaurant! In this unique, fun, family-friendly dining experience, guests will enjoy delicious barbecue fare while surrounded by a kaleidoscope of toys, games, and playsets that Andy has brought together to create his one-of-a-kind rodeo.

I love seeing what quotes they put on construction walls. Before this quote they used to have concept art on here so guests could see what’s to come. That concept art is no longer there.
As you can see there is a whole lot of scaffolding going on over here but there’s not much else to see than that. As of today, October 7th there are 86 days left until 2023. This table service restaurant is suppose to open in 2022. I wonder if that timeline they gave us earlier this year is still happening. I really hope this restaurant opens soon because I love BBQ, it’s one of my all time favorite foods. Here to hoping we can step into this area before 2023 rolls around.
