Christmas week is one of the busiest of the year. Disney fans travel from all over to spend the holidays here and experience all the offerings available to celebrate. Especially since starting December 23rd, entertainment from Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be available during normal operating hours until December 31st at Magic Kingdom.
Since it’s the busiest week, the wait times start to reach the highest of highest this time each year. Let’s look at the current times as of December 20th, 2022, at 12:30 p.m.
Magic Kingdom
There is a Christmas party tonight so that hugely affects the wait times. On party days, crowds are lower since many guests will come later for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Adventureland
Frontierland
Liberty Square/Fantasyland
Tomorrowland
Right now EPCOT International Festival of the Holiday is going on, and this event offers many different ways to celebrate the season. This park doesn’t have many attractions that eat up crowds, so high wait times this time of year are standard, especially for the newer rides.
Future World
World Showcase
This action-filled park has many new attractions that continue to attract visitors. Crowds can feel overwhelming here since this park is small, and there aren’t many places to turn in those moments.
Sunset Blvd/Hollywood Blvd
Toy Story Land
Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge
Grand Avenue
Animal Kingdom is huge, and even when it’s crowded here, it doesn’t feel highly overwhelming since many areas here eat up crowds.
Discovery Island
Pandora
Africa
Asia
DinoLand U.S.A.

Hi, I'm Erica, and I write about all things Disney. Before working for The DIS, I was a theme park performer at SeaWorld, but I also performed at Disney. I have such an immense love for theme parks to the point I studied them in college.
