With yesterday’s MAJOR news of the Walt Disney World Resort beginning the phased reopening of its theme parks and Resort hotels, I am over here swooning about the newest Voices from Home video that was shared earlier today on the Disney Parks Blog.
I know that I’ve told you in a couple of my previous columns how much I love the Dapper Dans. I’m not even picky about whether they’re from Disneyland or Walt Disney World because each one of these people is so incredibly talented.
It just so happens that my favorite song of theirs was the one chosen for today’s post and I’m so happy about it! I am quite certain that many of us have been dreaming of the day – for the last couple of months, anyhow – that we could step foot inside of the Magic Kingdom and hear the familiar voices of the Dapper Dans singing on Main Street, U.S.A.
I continue to be so enamored by the fact that these amazing folks are taking the time to bring this magic to us and, while I’m not 100% certain that I’ll be heading to Magic Kingdom on July 11th when the proverbial gates open, I can confidently say that I’ll be watching the reopening from afar and taking notes.
