Guests looking to welcome the new year in unforgettable fashion will have the opportunity to do so high above Magic Kingdom at California Grill, the signature rooftop restaurant at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in Walt Disney World. The restaurant will host a special New Year’s celebration featuring a multi-course dining experience, live entertainment, character appearances, and exclusive views of the holiday fireworks.
The event centers around a four-course meal, specially curated for the occasion. The menu draws inspiration from California market flavors and the restaurant’s own culinary history, including nods to dishes served during its 30-year legacy. The meal is designed as a sophisticated dining experience, making it ideal for guests looking for a special evening with elevated cuisine.

Adding to the ambiance, a live band will perform throughout the event, setting a celebratory and elegant mood. As part of the experience, guests will also have the chance to meet Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse, who will be appearing in festive attire for photo opportunities.
One of the highlights of the evening is access to prime fireworks viewing. Guests will be escorted to a dedicated outdoor viewing space to watch the New Year’s Eve fireworks show above Magic Kingdom. Fireworks will be shown at the end of each seating. Disney notes that showtimes may vary and displays are subject to weather conditions.
Guests 21 and older will receive a complimentary champagne toast to welcome the new year.
