Woody’s Lunch Box, located in Hollywood Studios’ Toy Story Land, is undergoing major construction to its outdoor seating area. Seating at this quick-service dining location is hard to come by on a good day, so we were disappointed to see that construction doesn’t seem to be wrapping up anytime soon.
Right now there are only five tables available, with just a few temporary tables over by Alien Swirling Saucers and the entrance to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Demolition of the outdoor seating area began around two weeks ago and hasn’t changed much since. While we don’t know the official reason for the construction, it looks more maintenance-related than a desperately needed expansion of the area.
For such a popular dining location, we would love to see the seating capacity increase and even additional covering so we can enjoy our beloved Woody’s Lunch Box Totchos out of Orlando’s heat and rain. For now, I would likely pass on Woody’s Lunch Box or maybe just Mobile Order the Seasonal Pumpkin Lunch Box Tart and keep walking.
Let us know in the comments if your theories on this ongoing Toy Story Land construction!
