Over at the Morocco Pavilion, you can find EPCOT’s hidden gem, Spice Road Table. Spice Road Table is labeled as a lounge on the My Disney Experience app. The description says, “Simmer your senses in the flavors of the Mediterranean as you unwind in the ambiance of a picturesque waterfront view.” There is an outdoor seating area on the water, and the indoor portion has large windows that allow you to look at the water while enjoying the air conditioning.
Since Spice Road Table is a lounge, the menu consists of small Mediterranean plates. Those small plates include spicy shrimp, fried calamari, naan spreads, and the Spice Road Table sampler. It’s important to note that they are not accepting reservations at the moment. If you want to snag a spot at this lounge, you’ll need to join the My Disney Experience app walk-up list. Last week I visited this wonderful hidden gem, and after joining the walk-up list, I only had to wait 10 minutes to be sat. I requested to sit inside because the heat recently has been unbearable. I told them about my milk allergy, and the cast members gave me a QR code with an allergy-friendly menu. I ordered my two favorite small plates, the Hummus Fries and Spicy Shimp. It had been a while since I dined at this location, and it’s just as good as I remembered.
My fondest memory of this location was when I watched IllumiNations from the lounge’s outside area. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the fireworks. I don’t know its this would be a great spot to watch Harmonious, but maybe one day, I’ll have to see if that spot is any good and let you guys know. The service each time I’ve eaten here has been amazing, and the cast members don’t shy away from saying that this is the best dining location. If you enjoy Mediterranean cuisine, then this is a place you need to visit on your next trip to EPCOT. Now the important part, pricing. On My Disney Experience, the pricing is shown as $14.99 and under per adult. For example, my order comes to about $22 because the Hummus Fries are $10.00 and the Spicy Shrimp is $12.00, then the Annual Pass discount kicks in at the end.
I love this dining location, and it is on my must-do list. The outdoor seating area is perfect and peaceful during the cooler months, like from October to February. Spice Road Table is also reasonably affordable compared to other dining locations at EPCOT.
