The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival’s 30th anniversary is happening now through June 2, 2025. One of the many highlights is the two dozen food booths found throughout the park, with special menus featuring fresh, in-season ingredients.
One of the new booths this year, Yacht Grub, is located along the walkway from the Imagination! Pavilion to World Showcase. The menu features charcuterie options and sparkling wine cocktails.
I can confidently say this long line was well worth the wait due to its popularity on the opening weekend of the festival.
Lemon Sparkling Cocktail – sparkling wine, Seagram’s club soda, and Limoncello liqueur – $7.50
All of the sparkling wine cocktails sounded great and I was tempted to get the flight of all three for $14.50. This cocktail was perfectly light and the limoncello added just the right amount of flavor. The portion size was also decent for EPCOT festival pricing. This is a layered cocktail so be sure to give it a swirl before enjoying.
Meat Assorti – beef bresaola, prosciutto ham, and salami with baby arugula, pickled mustard seeds, tomato jam, truffle oil, and grilled ciabatta – $6.75
You’ll notice the charcuterie was supposed to have grilled ciabatta, but they had run out. Fortunately, the crackers were a good addition, and the real star was the three meat options – all three were flavorful, and again, the portion was decent. The truffle oil is with the pickled mustard seeds, and the tomato jam is smoky and plentiful. These accompaniments are hidden underneath the crackers, so be sure not to miss them!
Trio of Dips and Chips – caramelized onion dip topped with caviar, whipped feta dip, and pimento cheese with house-made potato chips – $6.50
And here is the pièce de résistance… the trio of dips was everything I hoped it would be and is a must-have Flower & Garden food item. The caramelized onion dip might have been my favorite. Think of this as an upscale French onion dip with a richer flavor from the caramelized onions. Plus, the caviar on top gives it a little extra salt. I’m also happy to say the pimento cheese dip met this Southerner’s standards! Creamy with the right amount of heat, and I enjoyed the pepper and carrot garnish on top to give it extra crunch. And how can you go wrong with whipped feta? Salty, creamy, put it on top of anything, and it would be good.
Another winning feature of the Yacht Grub booth is it’s right beside the “Playalong Bay” playground. This playground is inspired by the Yacht & Beach Club Resorts and offers play equipment for all ages plus shaded picnic tables. The theming of this area plus the great food nearby makes it every parent’s EPCOT dream come true!
