After several competitive rounds of Toy Story Mania!, a loop around Slinky Dog Dash, and a dizzying spin on the Alien Swirling Saucers, Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios can leave you longing to duck in for a break from the excitement and crowds.

That’s why Round-Up Rodeo BBQ, a table-service restaurant conveniently tucked in a corner like a toy in the corner of Andy’s room, is the perfect spot to provide your whole family a chance to rest your feet and fill up on delicious BBQ.

The restaurant is themed around Andy’s room from the family of Toy Story films, complete with his favorite toys arranged for a round of pretend rodeo play. As a guest, you’re considered part of the fun, too! The décor is larger than life to make you feel part of the gang. In between courses, be sure to take a few minutes to walk around with your favorite Toy Story fan and see how many characters you can spot and name.

While Round-Up Rodeo BBQ isn’t a character dining meal, it provides the perfect opportunity to feel like a character in Toy Story yourself. Throughout your meal, you’ll hear different sounds alerting you that Andy is on his way back to the room. Suddenly, every cast member in the restaurant freezes, and everyone in the restaurant can join in on the fun. From toddlers to grandma, our whole table loved changing poses each time, pretending to be toys avoiding the gaze of an unseen Andy.

Fun and games aside, you’ll enjoy a variety of options and multiple courses served family-style at this table-service restaurant. First to arrive are The Prospector’s Homemade Cheddar Biscuits with Sweet Pepper Jelly. Melting in your mouth, these biscuits were a hit with our table, and every kid, parent, and grandparent wanted seconds (or thirds), which they’ll gladly bring you upon request.

Next came three different kinds of salads, which accompanied the biscuits nicely. From crisp greens to the refreshing Wheezy’s Watermelon Salad (our favorite) and more, there was a salad that satisfied even the pickiest palates.

For the main course, Round-Up Rodeo offers a choice between a meat BBQ platter or a plant-based BBQ platter. For our table of discerning southern BBQ fans, we chose a platter filled with aptly named smoked meats, including Buttercup’s Beef Brisket, There’s a Sausage in my Boot, and BBQ Chicken – with Style! Everyone loved the brisket and chicken most – the kids most of all.

The BBQ came with four sides. Our favorites were the Buckin’ Baked Beans, Cowpoke Corn on the Cob, Slinky Dooooooog’s Mac & Cheese, and Mean Old Potato Salad. With all the fun references to Toy Story, reading the menu and placing your order are enough to make you smile.

The highlight of the entire meal came at the end with the Chuckwagon Desserts menu. My kids (all under 10 years old) still talk about this memory months later. While all the pie options for adults were delicious, if you’re dining with kids, Cupcake a la Forky takes the cake. A whimsical cupcake treat topped with everyone’s favorite piece of edible trash, Cupcake a la Forky will leave your kids stuffed, happy, and full of memories.

Current prices at Round-Up Rodeo BBQ are fixed at $45 per adult and $25 per child ages 3-9 and do not include tax or gratuity. View the Round-Up Rodeo BBQ menu, and don’t wait to make your Advance Dining Reservation at this fun restaurant up to 60 days before your next scheduled trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
