Walt Disney World just made it a whole lot easier to snag that coveted dining reservation. While Disneyland Resort received a similar update earlier this month, as of June 23rd, 2025, a newly upgraded dining reservation system is live across both the My Disney Experience app and DisneyWorld.com, bringing a suite of features designed to streamline and improve the guest planning experience. Hereās whatās new:
Calendar View
You can now view a calendar of available dates when searching for reservations at a specific dining location. Dates with a green dot have reservations available, while date with a grey have no reservations. You can then select a range of up to 10 dates to search through.
While searching through multiple restaurants, there are now date and time range selections. Just like when searching through individual restaurants, you can select up to 10 days to search through, with any time range from 6AM through midnight.
Custom Time Selection & Improved Filters
Choose specific time ranges using a slider, like “All Day” or “12:00 PM to 4:00 PM” (These are no longer limited to fixed blocks such as āBreakfastā or āDinner.ā)
After selecting your date and time range, you can select “All Destinations” or “Filter by Area” (per theme park, nearby Resorts, or Disney Springs.)
Once you narrow down the best time and location for your travel plans, you can quickly lock it in!
While the updated system doesnāt add more availability, it gives a clearer view of whatās open and when, making it easier to book smarter. This update is ideal for flexible planning and those hard-to-get reservations!
