In a super weird turn of events, following the recent closure of the Disney attraction Splash Mountain, a strange item has started to pop up on social sales websites. It would seem that some fans are claiming to sell water from the now historic attraction. As many would know, the ride in question was based on a flume-style log ride, making water a central theme throughout its thirty-three years in existence.
Curiosity around the need for such a thing aside, these jars of mystery water ranging in price from $15 to $200 appear questionable at best; the handwritten notation “Splash Mountain Water” not adding to their authenticity.
Let me know if you’ve seen a stranger item of Splash Mountain memorabilia so far. Would you buy the Splash Mountain Water in the image above, as advertised by eBay seller ash7ntrev3?
