Hey there, my fellow Disney foodies! It’s no secret that one of my favorite Disney Springs dining locations at the Walt Disney World Resort is Frontera Cocina. There is an authenticity, quality, and uniqueness here that makes any time I spend in this area feel complete, and it’s a stop I never want to miss when I return. With its vibrant atmosphere and Mexican-inspired menu from Chef Rick Bayless, it has become one of those places I can happily return to again and again.
While I’ll never turn down a margarita at this place, and I’m always grateful for the incredible service and delicious flavors, it was a dessert that caught my eye this time around. The new citrus tart looks like the perfect way to finish an incredible meal, especially if you’re looking for something a little bright and refreshing. Of course, there’s a new cocktail in tow as well, with those gorgeous fall flavors and presentation that make it feel right at home in the season. So, if you’re heading to Disney Springs and looking for a little Mexican-inspired deliciousness, let’s take a closer look at these two new menu additions and see what has caught my foodie attention!
Cocktail: Serenata de Muertos
A little mystery is coming to Frontera Cocina this fall.
Meet the ‘Serenata de Muertos’ … a bold black margarita made with Tesoro Azul Blanco Tequila, pineapple-ginger juice, Ancho Reyes Verde, and activated charcoal.
Smoky, vibrant, and inspired by the spirit of Día de los Muertos.

Dessert: Fresh Citrus Tart
Bright, zesty, and the perfect way to end your meal.
Our Fresh Citrus Tart combines tangy lemon-lime-thai basil custard, a buttery macadamia graham cracker crust, fresh citrus, and whipped cream for a refreshing bite you’ll be thinking about long after dessert.

I’ll definitely be taking one of each, and I am not sharing! Though I will admit, the Pink Grapefruit Tart is going to be hard to beat. Don’t forget if you are visiting Monday – Thursday, 3pm – 6pm, Happy Hour is also on the menu!
