Fans of The Walt Disney Company might already know that the company’s efforts in sustainability have long been considered a high priority. Disney’s environmental impact website delves into great detail about the efforts made behind the scenes to lessen the impact of their business on the environment. With solar energy, waste reduction, and water conservation, The Walt Disney Company really is a cut above the rest. However, even though I’ve been well-versed in the green efforts of the entertainment giant for many years now, I hadn’t seen quite so specifically how some of the everyday practices in the parks contribute to the cause. A new video was released recently on the Disney Parks YouTube channel, and while it might serve as more of a sensory experience for some, I enjoyed seeing some of the finer points of this sustainability effort in practice.
