Do you always stay at the same resort, eat at the same restaurants, and do the same activities when you come to Walt Disney World?
I have visited WDW so many times that I can’t count them. Now that I live here, I try to experience something new every time I visit a WDW theme park, resort, or restaurant. I hear people say, “I want to do it all.” I don’t think it is possible to do it all in one trip.
We recently revisited a restaurant where we had dined so many times when I came with my kids. There are so many choices for food at Walt Disney World that we drifted away from this restaurant.
Planet Hollywood Observatory is located on the West Side in Disney Springs; remember the days when you had to wait outside to be called up the stairs? Today, you no longer have to wait outside, so we decided to try this restaurant again. We were pleasantly surprised. They do participate in the Disney Dining Plan if you are considering it for your trip.
The vibe is still there. The videos are playing, and the music is loud. The movie displays were fun to explore. The menu offered lots of choices, I was excited to try a burger from Chef Guy Fieri.
Can I say it was probably the best burger I have ever had? It was so flavorful. I thought it was expensive, but it was worth it.
On the way out, we stopped at the gift shop. They had a wide variety of merchandise. My motto is, if you didn’t get the t-shirt, it didn’t happen.
My pleasant experience made me think about my choices at Walt Disney World. Is it time to stay at a resort that I didn’t really enjoy before? What other changes should I make in my park touring? What do you think? Till next time, see you in the parks!
