Late last week, Magic Kingdom transformed from a spooky hideaway to a winter wonderland. It is truly the best time of the year, oh, and the most magical time of year too. Today, I am venturing out to Magic Kingdom to see all the holiday decorations that have gone up since November 2nd. I have been dreaming of seeing the huge Christmas tree since Halloween ended, so I am very excited.
Just a quick reminder: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party starts on November 9th. We are so excited about that event, and we can’t wait to experience all the fun entertainment on opening night. Magic Kingdom isn’t the only park participating in the holiday party trend; Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios starts on November 11th. There are so many exciting events happening this week to get us in the holiday spirit. That’s why it’s only fitting to start the week by seeing the decorations at Magic Kingdom.

Back of Cinderella Castle

I don’t know about you, but seeing Magic Kingdom decorated for Christmas gets me in the holiday spirit. My favorite part of the park’s decor is what they put on the back of Cinderella Castle. It seems so simple, but it is so elegant. The best time to see any of these decorations is at night when everything is lit up and illuminates the park. I can’t wait to see the streets filled with twinkling lights and snoap at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party later this week.
