If you’re looking for a fun way to cool down after a day in the parks this summer, Disney H2O Glow After Hours at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon might be exactly what you’re looking for. This limited-capacity nighttime event transforms the water park into a glowing summer party, complete with illuminated attractions, shorter wait times, character appearances, dance parties, and plenty of opportunities to splash the night away. On select nights from June through early September, guests can even enter Typhoon Lagoon as early as 6:00 pm, before the three-hour event officially begins at 8:00 pm.
Of course, no Disney event would be complete without special food and beverages, and that’s where things get even more exciting. While your event ticket already includes select snacks and drinks throughout the evening (complimentary ice cream novelties, popcorn, and beverages available at Leaning Palms, Snack Shack, Surf Doggies, and Tropical Amity Outpost), Disney has also announced a collection of exclusive menu items available for purchase during H2O Glow. I have to admit, Disney H2O Glow After Hours has been one of my favorite special events at Walt Disney World. There is something so refreshing about trading long, hot summer days for an evening of waterslides, wave pools, and family fun after the sun goes down. It offers a completely different experience from the four theme parks, with all the Disney magic you love but in a more relaxed, playful setting. Add in some fun event-exclusive food and beverages, shorter wait times, and the chance to cool off while making summer memories with family and friends, and you’ve got the recipe for a practically perfect Disney night. Water slides, family, fun food, and summer vibes. Honestly, what could be better?
