Planning to ring in 2027 at Walt Disney World? Disney has released their New Year’s Eve fireworks schedule for 2026, with THREE theme parks offering special midnight celebrations on December 31! Magic Kingdom will also get an early start on the festivities with fireworks on December 30.
Whether you’re planning to celebrate in front of Cinderella Castle, around World Showcase Lagoon, or down Hollywood Boulevard, here’s when you can catch the fireworks and welcome the new year!
Magic Kingdom
December 30 and 31, 2026
- Fantasy in the Sky: 6:30 PM and 11:50 PM (both nights)
Magic Kingdom will offer four performances of Fantasy in the Sky across two nights. If you want to experience the New Year’s Eve fireworks without actually visiting on December 31, December 30 is a great alternative. You’ll get the same fireworks spectacular and potentially avoid some of the New Year’s Eve crowds.
A Piece of Disney History: Fantasy in the Sky originally debuted alongside the park in 1971 and served as its nighttime fireworks spectacular for more than three decades before Wishes took over in 2003. Disney has since brought back a special version of the classic show for New Year’s Eve celebrations, complete with fireworks surrounding Cinderella Castle and launching from locations around the park.

- Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration: 11:54 PM
EPCOT will kick off its nighttime entertainment with an early performance of Luminous The Symphony of Us, followed by its special New Year’s Eve fireworks celebration just before midnight. Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios will join the celebration with its own midnight countdown fireworks over the Chinese Theater.
Planning Your New Year’s Eve at Disney World
New Year’s Eve brings some of the largest crowds of the year to Walt Disney World, so plan accordingly. Choose your park ahead of time, arrive early, and allow extra time for transportation after the midnight celebrations.
If you’re hoping to catch the fireworks without staying until midnight, Magic Kingdom’s earlier performances offer another option. And remember, December 30 gives you an extra opportunity to enjoy Fantasy in the Sky before the big night!
