Disney Lobbying report

Disney's lobbying efforts from April through June cost $1.5 million according to filings processed on July 21.
Among the federal legislation which Disney lobbied for are measures to stop illegal downloads at colleges and to protect children from online predators.
Disney also showed interest in the upcoming changeover to digital broadcasting, tourism promotion, taxation of the cost of making films and ride safety.
Among the government branches which Disney lobbied are the White House, the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the Federal Communications Commission, the Library of Congress, the Commerce Department, the Copyright Office, the Justice Department and Congress.
