Disney is celebrating the Blu-ray release of their classic film Cinderella with a new limited-edition shoe line. Together with shoe store DSW, Disney has designed five styles of high heels, all marked on the sole with a blue jewel and embossed carriage logo. Debbie Ferree, Vice Chairman, EVP of Merchandising for DSW said, "The inspiration for the line came from the vision of Disney artist Mary Blair's original art for the film. We took a close look at the film's aesthetic details - the rich textures and fabric, the beautiful blue in Cinderella's dress, even the French rococo-inspired scenery. Every whimsical touch featured in the footwear collection came right out of the film."

Director of Disney Consumer Products Robert Oberschelp said, "The Glass Slipper Collection captures the beauty and sophistication of Cinderella, tapping into the childhood affinity women have for this beloved character while creating footwear that is relatable to their lives as adults."

The shoes will be available in DSW stores and on their website on October 1 at prices ranging from $59.95 to $89.95. Cinderella's Diamond Edition Blu-ray will be released October 2.
