Disney creates Super Bowl Vinylmations

New NFL Vinylmation figures were released on February 3 at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. For now, only select teams have been created, but there are plans to expand the line in the future. Two of the teams that came out yesterday are the New England Patriots and the New York Giants, just in time for tomorrow's Super Bowl.

In addition to the individual team Vinylmations, a Super Bowl figure will be released February 5 on the Disney Parks online store. It will feature the official logo and colors of the game, and the winning team's logo will be added to the front after the game. Orders will be shipped in a few weeks.

These new figures are an expansion of the Vinylmation Sports line that was released in 2010. On February 10, select Major League Baseball and college teams will be released; the National Basketball League line will follow on February 17. Unlike many of the current Vinylmation figures, these new sports figures will be in clear packaging, so fans will be able to choose the team they are purchasing.
