In 2013, Evening Extra Magic Hours will drop to two

According to the thread started by poster Robo, beginning in January 2013, evening Extra Magic Hours will be shortened from three hours to two. Extra Magic Hours are a benefit to resort guests, allowing them one extra hour in the parks in the mornings and until now, three extra hours in the evenings. This change has now been confirmed on the official Disney website here, stating "Each day, one of the 4 Walt Disney World theme parks opens one hour early or remains open up to 2 hours after regular closing time."
Guests that take advantage of Evening Extra Magic Hours often cite the parks' emptiness in that last hour as one of their top reasons for staying. Other posters suggest that may be the very reason for Disney to drop the extra hour.
