Mickey ear hats are one of the most popular and well-recognized souvenirs at the Disney theme parks. The newest take on this trend are MousekeEars - tiny collectible ear hats, small enough to fit in your hand. Product developer Megan Kachur thinks the new hats are a natural fit for the parks, saying, "We have been working on the new MousekeEars for over a year. We wanted something guests could collect, share or wear."

Full-size hats came out last year based on the Disney characters, so mini-versions will be one of the first collections to be released in October. The second collection will be copies of the bright "pop color" hats seen on "The Mickey Mouse Club" in the 1970s. Hats will cost $12.95 and more collections will be released in the future; hats based on the World Showcase's flags are in the works.

The hats are packaged in a clear box, designed to resemble a stage. Not sure how to wear a mini hat? Disney provides three options - removable chin strap, key chain and hair clip. Guests will find the hats available for purchase at both the
Disneyland Resort and the
Walt Disney World Resort, as well as the Disney Parks online store.
