There may be three new pedestrian bridges built at the remodeled Downtown Disney. In a recent addition to the Disney Springs plans, Disney has asked Reedy Creek to use part of the transportation improvement budget ($360 million) to make plans for up to three new bridges. A total budget for the remodel hasn’t been released, but Reedy Creek and other third-party tenants of the area will come up with more than half of the amount.

A $246,000 contract was given to Helman Hurley Charvat Peacock Architects Inc. for the design of the bridges, which will go across Buena Vista Drive outside of Downtown Disney. There is a possibility that only two bridges will be part of the final design.
