Steve Jobs' widow takes control of $4.6 billion trust

Laurene Powell Jobs, widow of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, is now responsible for a trust that contains 138 million shares of Disney - a 7.7 percent stake in the company. The Steven P. Jobs Trust is valued at $4.6 billion; Jobs was the biggest shareholder in the Disney company. In 1986, he invested $55 million in Pixar Animation Studios when he purchased the company from George Lucas. Jobs then sold Pixar to Disney in 2006 for $7.01 billion worth of stock. He also had stock in Apple, worth as much as $2.04 billion. Jobs, 56, died on October 5, 2011.
