Following the arrest of lead singer Steven Page, the Barenaked ladies has dropped out of the upcoming Disney Music Block Party concert tour. The Barenaked Ladies are known for such hits as "If I Had $1,000,000" and "One Week."
Page was arrested on July 11 and charged with cocaine possession. He has since pled not guilty and is out on bail.
Group manager Terry McBride stated "We don't want to put Disney in an awkward position before issues involving Steven's arrest are resolved."
The Disney Music Block Party is set to begin on Friday at Toms River, NJ. It is being sponsored by Playskool and will feature areas where kids can try out new toys.
Among the performers scheduled to appear are Raven-Symone, Dan Zanes, They Might Be Giants and Ralph's World.
