Disney Interactive Studio's newest video game, "Disney Universe," was released last week, offering fans yet another way to experience Disney films at home. The game consists of six worlds based on the films Monsters Inc., Aladdin, Pirates of the Caribbean, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, WALL-E and Lion King. Players participate as their favorite Disney character by putting on a strange large-headed "suit." When players first start the game, there are six suits to choose from, but as the game unfolds, you can unlock up to 45 different characters. Each character comes equipped with its own strengths and weaknesses. The game is rated E10+, suitable for ages 10 and up, due to some mild cartoon violence. Early users of the game say that there is a lot of battling involved and players must hit "bad guys" to make them disappear. The game is full of puzzles, so could be frustrating to younger players who may be enticed by the Disney label. The game is available on several different platforms, including Wii, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
