Several Disney films were honored last week by the International Animated Film Society. The Annie Awards are to animated films what the Oscars are to live-action films. The ceremony was hosted by Patton Oswalt, who voiced the character Remy in the Disney/Pixar film "Ratatouille." Bruce Boxleitner, who starred in Disney's "Tron" and "Tron Legacy" was a presenter, along with several animation voice actors. The new Disney/Pixar holiday special "Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice" was honored with four awards, in the categories of storyboarding, character design, music and character animation. Other winning Disney titles were "Winnie the Pooh" for storyboarding and "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" for best animated television production for preschoolers.
