This year's D23 Expo in Anaheim, California brought two exciting announcements for fans of Pixar films: two as-of-yet unnamed films in the works for release in 2013 and 2014.

The first, due out during the holiday season of 2013, focuses on dinosaurs and what would have happened if the asteroid that made them extinct missed the Earth completely. Bob Peterson, co-director and voice of Dug the dog in Up, will direct the film. More information and a title for the film have been promised "in the near future."

The second film, directed by Pete Docter, focuses on the human brain and will "show a world to comically explain how decisions are made and how certain songs get stuck in your head." Docter said, "Most of us have had the experience of being around someone and thinking what is going on in their head. This film will attempt to answer that question." The film is due in 2014.
