Allergy information kiosk opens at Disney's Animal Kingdom

Walt Disney World is trying out a new concept for food allergy information at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Guests with dietary restrictions will now be able to stop at a kiosk near the front of the park and learn about the different meal options that are available to them. Healthy prepackaged snacks will also be available in this location. Known as the Gardens Kiosk, the location is next to Adventurers Outpost on Discovery Island and is open daily from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Guests can ask any questions they have about eating safely with their particular allergy or restriction and be directed to the best restaurants for them. Guests are always encouraged to speak to a manager or chef at the restaurant if they have further specific questions once at the dining location.

The Disney Parks Blog's post included a list of snacks available at the Gardens - popcorn, desserts, chips, hummus with vegetables, granola bars and gluten-free beer. Baby Cakes will also provide vegan desserts for the kiosk.
