The defendant took the stand in the Mad Tea Party court case which commenced earlier this week.

Victoria Walker, charged with aggravated battery, disputed claims that she attacked Aimee Krause last May.

According to Walker's testimony, Krause was the aggressor and the two had argued while in the queue. Walker then stated that while she was putting her child on the ride "I felt a kick on my right leg, and I turned around, and I had seen that it was Ms. Krause. I grabbed her hair with two hands, and I kicked her back on her leg."

Earlier, Krause testified that Walker slammed her to the ground and hit her with her purse, causing permanent injuries. Witnesses have corroborated Krause's testimony.

The case is expected to be concluded and turned over to the jury today. If Walker is found guilty, she is facing a maximum of 16 years in prison.
