Downtown Disney balloon closes for inspection after incident in Hong Kong

Walt Disney World has closed their Downtown Disney "Characters in Flight" balloon for inspection after a similar balloon in Hong Kong was involved in an accident. According to the Orlando Sentinel, the balloon in Hong Kong sprang a leak and fell to the ground from 60 yards in the sky on Thursday. Five people were injured in Hong Kong, none seriously. Disney also closed the balloon at their Disneyland Paris location. Disney has confirmed that "Paris-based Aerophile, the company that owns and runs the balloon ride, suspended operations until further notice."
