Disney Parks Blog has released some new interior images of the interactive Big Top queue area that will be opening at Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Walt Disney World's Fantasyland. With an anticipated opening sometime in July, this interactive area will be the centerpiece of an experience that will change the way guests wait in line. The Imagineers at Disney have been working on adding these interactive queues wherever possible, but this one will be the most innovative yet. Once in the Storybook Circus area, visitors stop at a ticket booth and pick up a circus ticket pager that will virtually hold their place in line, similar to checking in and waiting to be seated at a restaurant. While waiting, guests can go into the big top and "become part of the show" as they experience the circus-themed entertainment inside the air-conditioned tent. The Dumbo attraction, which upon opening will include two "spinners," will be the first major component of the new Fantasyland expansion to be revealed. The Barnstormer and one Dumbo spinner opened in March, but the big top interactive queue will be a brand new experience.
