Guests at
Epcot's Food & Wine Festival will be among the first to experience two new wines coming exclusively to Disney Parks.
Made by Placido in Tuscany, the wine's label is Sogno d'Italia, which means "Dream of Italy." Guests will be able to choose between a Pinot Grigio or a Chianti. The
Disney Parks Blog describes the Pinot Grigio as being light and crisp, reminiscent of pears and flowers. The red Chianti has "notes of cherries and plums and a hint of spice."
During the Festival, the wines will be available by the glass or the bottle at the Enoteca Castello wine shop in the
Italy Pavilion or by the bottle at the wine shop in the Festival Welcome Center. Prices are $6 per glass and $16.95 per bottle. When the Festival is over, the wines will be available in the Italy wine shop and will soon be added to wine lists in select
Walt Disney World restaurants.
