Delta waives flight change penalties resulting from Tropical storm Fay
by Leah ZanollaAug 17, 2008
Delta Airlines has announced a no penalty policy for passengers who need to change their flights due to Tropical storm Fay.
This policy applies to passengers who have booked their flights prior to August 16 and who are scheduled to fly between now and August 21 to/from or through Orlando, Daytona Beach, Ft. Myers, Gainesville, Sarasota, Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville, Key West, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach or Melbourne in Florida or Brunswick or Valdosta in Georgia.
This offer is good for one change to flights beginning on or before August 21. If the new date results in a higher fare, the difference is due at the time the change is made.
Additionally, if the storm results in a Delta flight being canceled, refunds will be issued upon request.
