Police arrested a man at
Downtown Disney this week who had been seen earlier with a gun. An off-duty deputy sheriff saw Frankie Gonzalez, 24, making "gang symbols" and noticed the gun in his pants. He was stopped at 11:55 pm, but when he tried to get away, the 9mm Glock fell and was recovered by deputies. The gun contained 14 rounds of ammunition.
The gun had been reported lost, but reports don't say who the owner is.
Gonzalez had been spotted earlier in the evening going into a restroom stall and picking up the weapon.
He has been charged with carrying a concealed firearm and resisting arrest.
